International Triathlon Holten 2012
Holten and the triathlon sport are inextricably connected to each other. Already the 28th edition of the Triathlon Holen take place on July 6th en 7th 2012. In 2009, the Holten Triathlon organization even hosted the European Championships, in 2010 the first World Cup in Holland were held in Holten and in 2011 was Holten part of the ETU Triathlon Premium European Cup and the ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup.
A combination of fanatical and enthusiastic top athletes, recreational athletes and numerous spectators provided for a unique atmosphere: this makes this event so special. It was in 2011 again a magnificent sports festival with international participants and hundreds of recreational. The highlight was the victory in the Elite Women's Rachel Klamer (see photo).
2012 will be a special year because the Olympics are held. The Olympic triathlon will be at August 4 and 7 at Hyde Park in London.
