During the World Cup Triathlon Holten two ‘Olympic covenants’ were signed on Saturday July 10th. ‘Regio Twente’, as well as the ‘Top Five sports events’ from Twente (FBK-Games Hengelo, CSI Twente, Military Boekelo-Enschede, Enschede Marathon and Triathlon Holten) have bound themselves via these covenants as partners of the Olympic Network Overijssel.

Thus they support the ambitions of the Olympic Network Overijssel to optimalize the (elite) sports climate in Overijssel the upcoming years. The goal of the partners within the Olympic Network Overijssel is to contribute to the ambitions of the Olympic Plan 2028.

The expectation is that, besides the current partners Topsport Overijssel and Sportservice Overijssel, on short term also the province of Overijssel and the Platform Onderwijs will join as partners of the Olympic Network.
