Austrian Finishes First During Triathlon Weekend

Maud Roelofs Fastest Girl

The Austrian Jelle Kaindl crossed the finish line as the first during the weekend of the thirty-fifth Triathlon Holten. In a time of 00:19:07, the young triathlete completed the one hundred meters swimming, five kilometers cycling, and 1250 meters running of the Rabo Super(sprint) Kids Triathlon as the fastest.

,,It was a hard and difficult triathlon,”, Kaindl said, who participated in Holten in the category 8-11 years, afterwards. ,,But luckily, I was encouraged by a lot of spectators.”,

Kaindl traveled with his family to Holten to support his older brother Tjebbe Kaindl, who would compete a day later (Saturday) in the elite men’s event. ,,When I saw that there was also a triathlon for children, I wanted to participate. Ultimately, I would like to compete in the elite category just like my brother. My dream is to start at the Olympic Games.”,
