Video Safety Risks Twente
In this story, Nienke ter Riet, coordinator of events of the safety region Twente, takes you into the world of event safety. We are particularly proud that Fire Department Twente has chosen our event as an example. Together with volunteers and stakeholders, we make our event as safe as possible!
We know several large risky events in Twente, but what is arranged at the front and during the event to ensure people’s safety? The Triathlon in Holten is an example of such an event where we work multidisciplinary. This starts with an application and risk analysis and ends in a successful and safe event. Per step, Nienke explains what needs to be done and what is expected from the different parties.
Besides Nienke, Arend Jan Aanstoot and Martin Pieters also speak. Arend Jan is fire station coordinator of the fire department in Holten and explains how the fire department ensures readiness during the event. Martin Pieters, chairman of the Triathlon Holten, provides an explanation from the organization on how they prepare for this day.
