Fitnessoccasions and Bike Totaal Bloemendal Prove the Strongest
The first event of the Triathlon has concluded and almost all teams have reached the finish line. In the individual category, Fitnessoccasions took home the victory. In the Trio Triathlon, Bike Totaal Bloemendal emerged as the fastest team. Although the temperature continued to rise, most participants seemed hardly bothered by the summery conditions.
“It was still quite manageable despite the heat,” concluded the third team from Ter Steege Holding bv. Two of the three team members had some experience in triathlon, but for Jane, swimming in open water was new. “I didn’t really know what to expect beforehand, but it all turned out okay!”
The men from Alcedo BV also did not quite know what to expect. Ultimately, they completed their first Trio Triathlon with a 23rd place finish and are satisfied with their performance. Freddy says: “The tension began to rise from Wednesday, but after the start, it disappeared like snow in the sun.” According to the team members, it was a joy to participate, and they are definitely starting again next year.
