On Friday, April 19, the first (friend of the) Triathlon sponsor evening of 2024 took place. It was held at the beautifully decorated Experience Center of Multiwagon. The ladies and gentlemen of the sponsor committee welcomed over 100 attendees at Keizersweg in Holten.
At the beginning of the evening, chair Anita Brinks welcomed everyone. Then, board member Martin Kemper introduced the new sponsors one by one to the audience. There was also an interesting interview by Laurens Jan Stam with Ramon Zomer from sponsor Reflex Bedrijfskleding and Intersport Nijverdal. This former footballer with teams including FC Twente and Heracles inspired the audience with his transition from top athlete to entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, the kitchen team from the Losse Hoes treated everyone with various snacks. Drinks were provided by brands like Bud and Vinovicco, and delicious treats were offered by Chocolet Petit Patisserie. Then it was time to practice singing along and dancing to the surprise act of the evening. The Amsterdam singer Bart Keizers enhanced the evening by performing several songs from his repertoire, well-known in Holten and surroundings. Meanwhile, there was plenty of opportunity to network, catch up, and meet new people.
Around 11 PM, it was gradually time to turn off the lights, and the last attendees went home. In short, a successful evening.
