Training in the Domelaar

Youth and adults participating in the Triathlon in Holten can register for various clinics via the website of Stichting Triathlon Holten. The clinics for youth aged 9 to 15 are organized by the triathlon association Triathlon Team Holten and ZPC Twenhaarsveld. For adults aged 16 and above, customized programs have been developed by the swimming, cycling, and athletics clubs of Holten.

Dress rehearsal
On Friday, June 22, all clinic participants will explore the race course of the Triathlon Holten. This will be done in multiple groups, for both the youth clinics and the adult clinics. If you are already participating in the clinics, you do not need to register separately for this; participation is included in the price. It is also possible to register only for the course exploration without participating in the clinics. On Wednesday evening, June 27, we will open the Domelaar for training intended for all participants of the Olympic Distance and the Corporate Teams. We offer you the opportunity to train in the Domelaar for one hour. Pre-registration is necessary due to the implementation of safety measures and can be done through our website: https://www.triathlonholten.nl/inschrijven-inzwemmen-domelaar/

You must report before entering the water and sign out when leaving the water with our volunteers present. We have set this rule for your safety. Only Olympic Distance and Sprint participants can train in the Domelaar, recreational swimming is not allowed.

Wetsuit rental
This year, in cooperation with Step One, we offer you the opportunity to rent a wetsuit. Further information about wetsuit rental is included in our newsletter from May 9. Swimming in a wetsuit is permitted during the race when the water temperature is up to 22 0C. If the water temperature is less than 14 0C, wearing a wetsuit is mandatory. However, this last situation is unlikely to occur. The water temperature is regularly measured and updates are provided on our site https://triathlonholten.nl/nieuws/watertemperatuur-domelaar to keep you informed of the latest water temperature.
