On Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th of June, the most beautiful triathlon village in the Netherlands will once again host the Europe Triathlon Premium Cup and the Europe Triathlon Junior Cup.
Two days filled with international top-level competitions and a packed sports and atmosphere program for recreational athletes and spectators.
The Triathlon Holten will once again be the battleground for an international triathlon for elite athletes in 2024. For the 17th consecutive time, Holten has been assigned a prestigious Europe Triathlon Premium Cup event by the European Triathlon Union. The date of the Triathlon Holten is allocated and largely depends on this calendar.
On the famous course in and around the Sallandse Heuvelrug, athletes from the world elite compete for ranking points and the podium. The event in Holten has been on the international calendar since 2002. The junior series has also been reassigned to Holten by the European federation this year, adding even more top-level spectacle. Both events are held on Saturday.
For recreational participants and the public, just like in previous editions, both a sporting and festive program are planned for Friday and Saturday. More information about the scheduling of the recreational events will follow at a later time. However, there will definitely be a corporate triathlon, a running race, eighth and Olympic distances. Of course, everyone is also curious to find out who will be named Holten’s champion for a year.
The days will be festively concluded with the famous opening party on Friday and the afterparty on Saturday.
