Volunteers
The Holten Triathlon can count on many volunteers every year. We have volunteers stationed at water stations, serving in the VIP tent, during setup, hanging banners, with the press, providing care, at information points and much more!
This large group of volunteers requires an efficient volunteer organization. We have divided all volunteers into different groups. Each group has a group leader. If you are interested in contributing as a volunteer or as a group leader to this fantastic event, please let us know. Quickly go to contact. There you can register as a volunteer and indicate which activity interests you. Subsequently, you will be contacted.
Board
The board consists of eight members and there are fifty group leaders who each manage their own group of volunteers.
There are various board positions. In addition to a chairperson (Anita Brinks), treasurer (Arnoud Martens), and a secretary vacancy, we also have general board members responsible for: race technical affairs (Folkert Visser), sponsorship (Martin Kemper), Gerrit Aanstoot (materials and course) and Liesbeth Holterman (marketing and communication).
Confidential Advisors
As the board of the Holten Triathlon, we find it important that everyone can be themselves.
Should you encounter any unwanted behavior, you can contact our confidential advisors. They are the independent and objective point of contact for volunteers of the Holten Triathlon who face unwanted behavior such as aggression, violence, bullying, discrimination, unwanted intimacy, or sexual harassment.
